MY STORY

8 years ago, the idea of singing in front of anyone would make me cry. My throat would close, my hands would tremble, fear would take over and shut me down.

I was terrified of being heard.

But something inside me knew there was a voice buried deep beneath the fear—a voice that carried stories, prayers, and ancient echoes waiting to be sung.

Within me lived a deep insatiable yearning to belt from the depths of my being with power, grace, and freedom.

But every time I’d try... I’d collapse.

What followed was a long, deep, healing journey to unwind the trauma held in my nervous system that imprisoned my voice.

Through years of somatic vocal work, trauma healing, breathwork, and plant medicine ceremony, I began the slow and sacred process of reclaiming that voice.

Five years ago, even though I was still afraid, I started leading song circles for my community. My voice would tremble at first, but I kept showing up, devoted to set my expression free.

Circle after circle, I sang anyway. Holding space for others to sing with me helped me dissolve my fear, and slowly, I began to trust my voice. These circles became not only a space of healing for others—but a powerful rite of passage for me.

Over time, those sacred songs became medicine for my community. After each sound journey or ceremony, people would ask:

"Where can I listen to your music?"

"When are you recording your album?"

Now, after nearly a decade of healing and hiding and hoping—I’m finally ready!

THE PROJECT

I’ve written over a dozen original medicine songs, many of which came through during profound moments of connection with spirit and self.

I’ve tried recording on my own, but the learning curve is steep. I’ve realized these songs deserve more—they deserve a team, a studio, and the professional support to bring them fully to life.

This is where you come in.

A song costs about $1000 to produce; this includes studio time, mixing and mastering, (this doesn't include featuring other artists for their live instrumental additions)

With your help, I’ll be able to record and release my debut album: a soul offering of sound medicine for the world! If I don't reach my goal of $10,000, I'll still use the funds to record as many singles as I can!
