It’s my birthday in one day. And this old lady is still trying to make a difference in as many cats' lives as possible.

Even though a Gowanus kitten rescue messed up my knees good this summer, and Covid and flu keep knocking at my door, I’m determined.

Currently, I am aiding four kitties: An abandoned senior cat with kidney disease, Teddy, whose person passed and her family wants nothing to do with the him; an injured Red Hook Colony cat, Pappi‍. Who was attacked by a dog; a dumped friendly cat, Sunny from Homecrest with ringworm; and the third cat trapped in Prospect Park which needs a lot of socializing and who knows who else right around the corner.

On top of these rescues, I feed over 36 cats daily, 2x daily, in the Gowanus and my home colony cats.

So for my birthday, I just need love. I’m feeling very depleted financially and emotionally, and your support would mean the world.
