For my BIRTHDAY this year, I’m sharing Charlie’s story

I rescued Charlie, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle, from San Bernardino City Animal Shelter. He was sadly scheduled to be euthanized due to medical issues and was running out of time.

Poor dude had a painful laceration on his neck that required surgery to repair, along with a drain placement that same night I picked up from the shelter. The laceration had previously been repaired but opened back up when he was in his kennel.

With the help of a local rescue, Redline Rescue, who pulled him from the shelter, I brought Charlie home and took full responsibility to get him the care he needed immediately. I was grateful for pledges but they only covered $300 of his $1500 surgery.

Charlie is now safe, healing, and so loved. I’ve been meaning to start this GoFundMe since Sept, but he’s been keeping us busy… in the best way.
