My name is Sam, I'm a transwoman, I am a nurse, I am also an avid motorcycle rider.

Every year for my birthday I pick a non profit to raise funds to spread some goodwill out there into the universe. This year I'd like to raise money to help a fellow queer kid get their first beginner motorcycle.

For the sake of anonymity I won't use names, but they have had their motorcycle license for a year and while they have a motorcycle in their garage it's from the 1970's and absolutely needs an overhaul. This poor kid has also been trying to find employment for the greater part of a year and has had a lot of difficulty getting income to get their project bike off the ground.

I remembered being in this situation once... a perpetual project bike constantly throwing money into it and trying to keep it running. So why not find a reliable beginner bike to help this person experience some wind therapy.
