Hi everyone, My name is Lyn, and I’m reaching out with a small but meaningful request. I’m currently raising funds for Nanay Dolly, the mother of my friend and classmate in the Philippines.

Nanay Dolly is living with dementia, which has made everyday tasks increasingly difficult. Recently, her daughter tried to secure a simple birthday cake voucher through a local seniors’ program, but unfortunately, the request was denied because Nanay Dolly could not physically be present to provide a thumbmark. Due to her condition, traveling to the office is no longer possible.

 Birthdays may seem like small moments, but for families facing challenges like this, they mean so much. A simple celebration would bring joy, comfort, and a sense of normalcy to Nanay Dolly and her loved ones during a very difficult time.

 I’m hoping to raise £200 to help cover a simple birthday celebration — a cake, a modest meal, and a few essentials to make the day special for her. Any extra amount raised will go toward her daily needs and care.
