It's my 40th birthday, and I'm asking that instead of gifts, you to join me in supporting the Young Lung Cancer Initiative, Inc. This incredible organization brings visibility, empowerment, and hope to those diagnosed with lung cancer at 50 or younger.

I've chosen this NPO because I was diagnosed with Stage I lung cancer in Sept 2024. Thanks to early detection and a lot of support from family and friends, I underwent surgery and have been given the gift of being cancer free for almost 2 years.

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths, yet young adults - especially women with little or no smoking history - are often overlooked. I'm one of the lucky ones. My cancer was found early, and today I have the privilege of celebrating this milestone birthday. Too many others are still fighting for the chance to celebrate theirs.
