Hi everyone!

Those who know me well also know that I'm officially known as a Crazy Cat Lady! But I'm not just any Crazy Cat Lady, I'm one who has a passion for supporting and adopting cats with special needs.

We have been blessed with being able to re-home x7 beautiful blind fur babies and this wouldn't have been possible without Safe Haven Egypt (SHE) - a registered Egyptian charity shelter for street cats in Cairo, Egypt.

The team at SHE do an absolutely amazing job of rescuing those who would otherwise not stand a chance of life on the dangerous streets of Cairo. They shelter, nurse, rehabilitate and love all those in their care, with the aim of rehoming them in the UK, Europe, USA and Canada. Currently they have approximately 300 cats in their care.

The charity is entirely run through donations. Without the dedication of the team and the generosity of their supporters, the great work carried out just wouldn't be possible.

It's for this reason that this year I am running a birthday go fund me. I will be visiting SHE on my birthday in October to volunteer for 5 days, and as well as my time, I would also like to donate some extra funds as a little really does go a long way in Egypt!

All donations will go 100% to SHE.
