My name is Amanda, and animals have always held a special place in my heart. Throughout the year, I do everything I can to help those in need—whether it’s donating to animal charities facing urgent situations, paying for boarding for fosters, or even rescuing a baby bird in distress. Every animal deserves a chance at safety and love, and I try to be there for them whenever I can, often out of my own pocket.

This year, I’m starting a fundraiser for my birthday, December 28, 2025, in honor of my sweet Charlie Chaplin Magoo. Charlie was one of my beloved rescues, and losing him so suddenly to a spleen rupture at 14 was heartbreaking. His gentle spirit, happy personality, unconditional love, and the way he wiggled with joy inspired me every day to keep helping animals who need a second chance. I want to honor his memory by continuing to make a difference for animals in crisis.
