Birney Madigan Parish Challenge

As a result of Covid - 19 we have been unable to fundraise in order to meet costs associated with the development of our GAA grounds. We want to raise funds to cover the drainage and lighting of our new playing area. Redevelopment of our clubhouse, erection of a scoreboard and other remedial work to roads and entrances to the club grounds. 
We are hoping to invoke the spirit of club legend Birney Madigan who we celebrate each year with our underage inter-parish tournament.
This will not go ahead this year due to social distancing rules so we have decided to merge both our fundraising and celebrations of a club legend together this year to help highlight our GAA/parish/community spirit and raise some vital funds to help develop our facilities for future stars like Birney Madigan.

The parish is divided into 4 regions - the region who runs/walks the most KMs will be crowned Birney Madigan Champions 2020.
Each participate will send the relevant region management team a screenshot of the distance they covered. There will be live updates on KMs ran on all social media platforms 

The competition will run from the 06th Aug at 6pm until the 9th Aug at 9pm.
It is open to everyone who is from/ currently living in/ or formerly resided in the parish
