Birmingham children’s hospital liver department

Hi, my mum and myself are running the Plymouth 10K on the 11th May 2025. We are fundraising money to go towards the children’s Liver unit located in Birmingham, after my little sister was transferred there after birth due to being born with a Hemangioma in her liver and being very poorly at birth. Ward 8 was amazing at helping my mum and dad cope with being so far away from home, they also helped my sister come home and they now still support her nearly 6 years later. The funds will be personally delivered to ward 8 by ourselves in the form of a check at what is hopefully going to be her last appointment to help them with their dedication, amazing work and also to the children currently under the wards care.
