Today Birdie was hit by a car in our neighbourhood. She spent 8 hours at the vet being monitored for internal bleeding in her abdomen. Tried to escape the treatment room several times on three wobbly pins hopped up on goofballs and was sent home. However, is not out of the woods yet and requires surgery on her hind leg for a ruptured tendon in her knee. She is in pain, whimpers when she moves, unable to weight-bear and is not allowed to do stairs or act the fool. We are in need of help to fund her emergent surgery. So she can get back to dragging me around the block and being the sweetest social butterfly this side of town.
