Memorial and afterlife care for Bird (Ariana Bird)

If you are here, you may know Bird or someone close to them—thank you for being here. Bird, our beautiful and special loved one has left us all too soon. On April 1st Bird was tragically hit by a car on their way home from work and passed away from their injuries. This fundraiser is being put together to support their family in this incredibly difficult time. Funds will be used to provide their family with the financial means needed to give Bird the after-life care they are so deserving of.

To know Bird, was to know limitless creativity, insightfulness, compassion, and empathy. They had lived so many iterations of self and passion. Connecting with a multitude of humans on their life's journey; weaving their life into an intricate piece of art. Many of you will remember Bird for their awe-inspiring ability to tell beautiful and honest stories of the human experience through their dance and choreography. Some will remember them as the kind child always willing to make a friend. Some will remember Bird for their compassion, their ability to make others feel seen and safe. Or for their ferocious energy that held everyone in their presence. Some will remember Bird for their desire to make the world a more just place and their transparency and advocacy for mental health, human, and trans rights. And some of you will remember Bird for all these things and more.

There are no words to describe the hole they are leaving behind, in many of our lives and certainly in all of our hearts. The magic that they instilled in their life and those around them, will continue. I know this to be true as so many of you have written to offer condolences and share so many similar sentiments. They are Magic. They are Love.
