Birchwood Point Community Basketball Camp

Hello, my name is Langeston Hughes. Many of you know that I started a basketball camp last summer for the kids in my subdivision (Birchwood Point). Last summer, I had kids from age 9-14 with a total of 18. The feedback from the kids and their parents was all very positive. The kids and some of the parents have approached me about me facilitating the camp again this summer. I was able to facilitate this event at no cost because we did it outside, however, this was only on a half court. This summer I'm taking it to the next level by renting the indoor full court at Blackhawk Church off of Mineral Point Rd. This event will take place the week of June 23 - June 27, 2025. These funds will be used for the cost of renting the gym and snacks and the cost of the awards. Here's how the funds will be used: $250.00 Gym time rental, $50.00 Snacks, $100.00 for awards TOTAL: $400.00. These funds will NOT be used to pay myself nor the Assistant Coaches. Our time is free for this community event. We sincerely appreciate whatever amount you can contribute.
