Can you help Birch Copse Primary School PTA?
Hi everyone, we hope you are all keeping safe and well in these unusual times. Sadly we would have been enjoying our summer fair this month (and in perfect weather too!) and we have really missed all of the fun getting everyone together with our awesome team of volunteers. At least we’ve had the lovely sunny weather to be able to get the children outside :)
Missing out on the summer fair, in addition to our other regular fundraisers of Quiz and Chips, school discos, school uniform and our infamous ice cream Fridays this year, means the PTA has missed out on a significant amount of fundraising opportunities; approximately £11,000!
Our fundraising is vital to the school and is being used more and more for essentials including towards our lovely teaching assistants. PTA funds were also used on playground equipment, replacing fire doors and new smart tv’s in six of the classrooms last year.
So this is where we need your help; we need your donations to continue to support Birch Copse Primary School. They need us more than ever now to make sure that the school can be ready for our children when they all return in September, and making sure they have all the resources they need to keep everyone safe. There has already been a huge outlay of PPE and measures to make the school a safe place.
We are asking for any amount of donation big or small, maybe the amount you’d spend at the summer fair? Or at a Quiz and Chips evening? Every contribution will make a huge difference, and you can also gift aid your donation so we can claim an extra 20% back from the Government.
We know that for some of our families circumstances have changed so we appreciate that not everyone will be able to contribute, but we also wanted to provide a way of being able to make a donation if you were able to.
