BIPOC Respite Retreat- support in bringing this to life!

Hi beautiful humans!

My name is Zeke (most of you who read this will already know me) but for those that don't and have not been following what I am hoping to achieve please stick around and read till the end! :)

In light of the past month and the rise in racial violence, danger and heightened stress inflicted upon those within the bipoc communities, I wanted to put my own anger and pain to good use and do something positive and support my community.

In October, I will be running a bipoc respite retreat for folks within the community. This will be a wholesome weekend in nature, full of restorative and healing activities, creating a safe space to bring people together to have a moment to rest and recover.

In order to make this a success I need to raise funds to be able to cover the cost for the retreat. The money raised will all go towards the cost of accommodation for the chosen site, travel, food, supplies, costs for activities and also support folks who are attending who require financial aid.

This is where I turn to you all for your support. I have tried to keep the goal realistic whilst also aiming to raise enough to make sure I can make this weekend the best it possibly can be for those who need it. The funds raised will help to make this retreat come to life, and any amount that is left over will go straight to mutual aid, collectively decided by the group.
