Hello everyone!
Please help us out. We are being retaliated against from our property managers and need to be rehoused before we get served an eviction notice for the trailer in our yard! We have been having to deal with rodent infestation, leaking roofs, faulty wiring, consistent plumbing issues, mold, leaking basement, galore! We are tired, exhausted, and continue to be harassed by these slumlords. We found a place but need to move immediately and lack the funds! Move in date is September 1st. We are a friend group of 5 and don’t want to be separated. One of us has just went through bottom surgery and even lacks the ability to do the tasks of moving. He’s been out of work and will continue to be for a month or more depending on recovery. We all come from varying backgrounds of homelessness and housing insecurity. This trailer in our yard has been part of this house for 8 years. And suddenly, with people unexpectedly showing up to our house to take pictures from mgmt, arborists appearing to address our 100+ year old cherry tree, and a sudden inspection after a request for our one and only shower to be fixed; we finally have been served a notice to remove the trailer and we know they are trying to get rid of us. This neighborhood hates poor people and hates us for being young people too. GET US OUT OF HERE AND INTO A SAFER HOME. 5k is our moving goal, it would really help with our sudden moving needs. We understand life for everyone is so rough and so we appreciate anything and everything. Thank you so so much.
