Help Veteran's Service Dog Through Surgery
Donation protected
Thanks for taking time to be here. My name is Andrew and I’m asking for some help with my four year old pup, Raven’s, degenerative disc surgery.
Since she first started limping in December, her condition quickly declined and after months of numerous specialty vet visits and testing, we discovered she did NOT have an ACL tear like they originally thought… but she does have hip dysplaysia, severe arthritis, and a degenerative disc disease.

We got the run around for a while but were finally able to get into neurology and they uncovered that she would require surgery for the disc disease. Thankfully, she doesn’t (yet) need a full hip replacement like we were also bracing ourselves for.
Raven hasn’t been able to run or play in months. Strict doctor’s orders for her to be on limited activity and after her surgery, she will have several months of recovery. Just when our new puppy, Rufus, was big enough to give Raven a run for her money, she was no longer able to play with him.

Any contribution, big or small, will help pay for Raven’s surgery and other medical bills (MRIs, CT scans, meds) which have reached $12,000 and aren’t over yet. As a disabled Veteran, my Raven girl helped save me and now it’s my turn to return the favor. I'm grateful for this amazing dog of mine - when I was fostering her through a local German Shepherd rescue when she was 1 year old and released by her previous family, she stole my heart and became my foster failure.
Rufus also says, “Thank you!” for helping get his favorite big sis and playmate back. Thank you for your consideration and any help you might give.
