Bionic Arms For Musician
Donation protected
I am a musician. Music has been and will be my escape and method of communication for as long as I live. I was born with a skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa, which has been causing my skin to blister and tighten on all of my limbs. In spite of the hardships relating to this condition, I kept playing my accordion and singing anywhere I went. Whether that be at church, the street, at home, visiting friends. Music is my everything.
In 2006 I have lost my left hand, below the wrist, to skin cancer. And 14 years later, in September of 2020, I lost my right hand to cancer again. Since I've lost my second hand, it has been impossible for me to play the accordion. Therefore, I sing. I sing all of the time and everywhere.
I am very happy and satisfied with my life. However, I would love to have the chance to play my dear musical instrument again. With the rise of technological advancements, it is finally possible for me to have multifunctional bionic prosthetics.
My heart and soul would sing with joy and happiness when I will have my instrument back.
