THAT, beautiful lady is my Mom. In the last 15 years, she has proven times over why she is my hero. In that breif decade and a half, she has done the following: Survived divorce, miscarriage, Skin Cancer, Lung Cancer, and had been diagnosed with fully blown Rheumatoid Arthritis; she had Sat through my heart procedure 10 years ago and had 2 more kids in that time, my little sister and brother. She raised us all to be kind, funny, generous, humble, and used to say "if my boys can be perfect gentleman, and my girl can be a something for other boys to chase, I succeeded. "
On December 7th, 2018. My Mother suffered a spontaneous heart episode that left her in a coma, with very little brain activity. She also needed machines to run most all organs. The machines began to struggle, and I had a choice as the eldest child at 27. It felt wrong to solely choose, so I asked my siblongs to help me. Backed by my amazing (Sis 16, and Bro 14) , we made the choice together to pull our Mom off of life support, so that she wouldn't suffer. She passed away, at age 56, less than 24 hrs after her heart episode. I now, am moving back into my mom's house and attempting to pull it out of debt, trying to plan a funeral, gain guardianship of my siblings, and eventually finish her dream of taking her house of 48 years back to what it was when she was a girl. I have a car that needs a lot of work. I will also be pursuing their father, her ex boyfriend, for the $50,000 in support that he has never paid, soley to make her struggle.
I promised her 3 things:
I will gain guardianship of the kids, watch them graduate, and not lose her house.... I can NOT break those promises.
