I'd like to help my best friend and her family, who are not only in mourning of their beloved fur baby, but also severely in debt because of the emergency veterinary costs.

Binky was an ex-stray (see the tipped ear) whom the family took in over 12 years ago and gave him a warm and loving home. He was a healthy boy, but in the past few weeks, he started feeling unwell, which led to multiple visits to the emergency veterinary, a bunch of tests and different medication. Alas, all that care only provided a temporary improvement and in the end they had to say goodbye to him. His family had to remortgage their house and take an additional to cover the bills. To make matters worse, Binx's "brother" Jasper (the stripy boy) is 19 years old and requires regular trips to the vet, to ensure his pancreatitis stays under control.

The funds will be used to cover the remaining veterinary costs, to ensure Jasper stays healthy and hopefully to (partially) cover the loan.
