Binnie’s Flood Recovery

They say it’s a 1 in 1000 year flood. Well here we are living it and it has destroyed my sister’s home. Everything. A lifetime of treasured possessions now lining the street. It’s a level of devastation many of us will never understand. This photo is Binnie with her son Conor, taken after two full days on the clean up, it demonstrates her fighting spirit. She’s able to smile and have hope, things will be ok. Family and friends have rallied and it’s amazing to witness. So now here I am, for the one and only time in 1000 years, asking for your help on Binnie’s behalf to rebuild her life in a town she loves. Insurance, ha wouldn’t that be nice, it’s impossible in Lismore. Anything anyone can contribute towards her, Conor and daughter Ella’s recovery would mean the world to us. With the help from family and friends this nightmare will soon be over.
