Binkys Recovery Journey: Help Her Get Back On Her Paws

Hi everyone,

My name is Kirsten, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my beloved bunny, Binky. Recently, Binky suffered a serious accident—her exercise pen accidentally collapsed and fell on her back. Since then, she hasn’t been able to use her back legs.

She’s currently unable to hop or move around the way she used to, and we’re doing everything we can to get her urgent veterinary care and diagnostic imaging (like X-rays or an MRI) to understand the extent of her injury. The hope is to give her the best possible chance at healing and living a happy, pain-free life.

Binky is more than just a pet—she’s family. She’s sweet, gentle, and brings so much joy to my life. She’s also bonded to her best friend, Biscuit, who has been staying by her side and trying to comfort her through all of this. Watching him nuzzle her and stay close breaks my heart even more. If I’m unable to afford the care Binky needs, and euthanasia becomes the only option, I know Biscuit will be heartbroken—and so will I.

Vet bills, mobility aids (like a bunny wheelchair if needed), medications, and potential physical therapy all add up quickly. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Any amount you can give would make a huge difference. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would still mean the world to us. Vet expenses especially for exotic pets are very very costly. Surgery can range from $6k and up. And she will need physio therapy.
