On April 26th, 2024, a devastating tornado struck Elkhorn, NE, destroying many homes, including the residence of Bini and her family. Just as they were settling into their new home, which they moved into in October 2023, this tragedy turned their lives upside down.

Bini, who is in her final week of the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program at UNMC, now faces not only the crucial moments of her education but also the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding her family's life. The loss is immense, and the road to recovery will be tough without a collective effort.

I am one of Bini's instructors in the MLS program who are helping Bini and her family recover from this tragedy. we are reaching out to ask for your support to help Bini and her family during this incredibly challenging time.
