Bing Bong's New Wheels: Support Klaus's Care

You may know him only as “Bing Bong,” but his government name is Klaus. He’s an incredibly active and silly guy that quickly makes anyone fall in love with him and his crazy antics.

As many of you know, Klaus suffered a spine injury last Friday that quickly progressed and has left him paralyzed in his hindquarters. He can’t walk and has become incontinent. While rest and pain management are key at this time, we’re looking at a long road to recovery and a complete lifestyle change for our little boy. We’re devastated this handicap has occurred so young, with his third birthday being next month. We still hope he can live a long, happy life even if there is no improvement in his mobility.

While surgery costs are unattainable, we’re hoping to raise funds to support what vet bills have already piled up, income loss from his constant care, in addition to physical therapy and all his new handicap supplies.

It’s been very hard on all of us already, but he’s proving himself to be a strong boy. As long as he keeps trying, we will. At the very least we hope he’ll be flashing a new pair of wheels soon.
