Two years ago, we started our diabetic journey with Bindi after one dose of Simparica Trio. She quickly went blind due to cataracts.

Bindi goes camping with us and used to follow me on trails and outside to do chores. Unfortunately, she has become unable to do this due to her eye health.

A week ago, she turned too fast and smacked into the door frame, causing glaucoma from trauma. Her eye pressure is in the 50s, and even with the drops, it will not come down.

The ER vet wanted to take both her eyes, and I couldn't justify doing this. With the encouragement of my vet, we made the appointment at the Animal Eye Care Center in Cary, NC.

Today, they gave us better news. There is a treatment where they inject her bad eye to help stop the pressure, and she is a candidate for cataract removal, which will give her some eyesight back in her good eye.
