On December 2, 2020, we tragically lost our beloved friend Binayak Mohapatra, 52, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. His untimely passing was so sudden and so unexpected that it has left all of us gasping in disbelief. He leaves behind his wife and 9-year old son.
Binayak was one of the most positive, generous, and helpful human beings who approached everyone with kindness. His cool, collected, mild manners inspired confidence, resilience, and positivity among all his friends. In his short life, he embraced the spirit of giving and care. He had an amazing career in his field of engineering and served as one of the top leaders at the multi-national company he worked. His colleagues loved him and his customers held him in high esteem. For his incredible 9-year old son, who is growing up as a fine young man there was no better Dad and for the love of his life, his wife no better husband. He had so much to give but in a cruel irony of fate was cut off in his prime. This is an unthinkable tragedy for his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community.
We request that you give generously to support Binayak’s family. His sudden passing has left the family in extreme emotional and financial distress. Supporting them helps each of us carry on his legacy through school, life and health. Immediate goal is to raise $100K to support the family in current difficult time. Second milestone is to raise another $100K for the child’s college tuition for a total of $200K. We need your help to support this family now and forever and thank you for your generosity.
