For years Binary: Games, Food & Spirts has been a hidden gem right in the heart of West Allis Wisconsin it's place for everything nerd culture. The friendly atmosphere let you come game, dine and drink as well as let you become who you wanted to be via campaigning in D&D, cosplaying your favorite character, getting transported into your favorite game and yes even LARPing! It has always been our goal to provide a place that anyone can come and be themselves in a safe and fun environment because "Nerds" never had these kind of places before. This extends not only to our guests but our employees as well. We strive for fair wages, a place to learn and grow and give a sense of family. We had Big plans for 2020. Unfortunately Covid-19 hit the country and devastated the hospitality industry. We were not the exception. Closures came hard and fast pulling the rug right out from under our feet. We struggled to adapt like most businesses did early on and we made the very tough decision to close our doors for the remainder of 2020. As the new year approached so did a new business partner and we decided that we couldn't wait any longer to open. We reopened our doors on January 20th with a brand new menu focused on high quality food using as many local vendors as we can. It's all about supporting each other now and moving forward we will continue this as it has become part of our very being.
Here were the plans for 2020 - 2021
-Create a true gamers paradise with true gaming stations for console and desktop gamers alike. Have the latest and greatest card/board games with ample tables to game and lounge. Creating gaming tables for the diehard gamers that have everything you ever want to create a campaign people will talk about for years!
-To transform our bar into a craft cocktail lounge that serves cocktails that are hand crafted and themed. Supporting local breweries by highlighting what they do best on our menus. All while giving you a place to enjoy the evening, relax and of course game!
-Build an outdoor patio to extend the experience of binary out into the open fresh air. An area to get away from the real world that takes you to a place you can escape with a cocktail and chill.
-Create a space to highlight local artists with a focus on everything Nerd Culture.
Unfortunately those plans won't be able to happen for a long time unless you are willing to help. We humbly ask for donations to help get us back on track so we can provide Milwaukee with the gaming restaurant/lounge it truly deserves.
