Who We Are

Hello! I'm Jean Louis Bimela, the founder of Bimecoffee, a social enterprise rooted in the heart of Cameroon since 2014. Our passion is simple: to roast and deliver the finest organically grown Arabica coffee, grown at a high altitude of 1,400 meters in the lush mountains of the Bui division, North West Region of Cameroon. Our coffee isn't just a beverage; it's a rich, fruity experience that encapsulates the spirit and flavor of our homeland.

Our Story

Despite facing challenges—including relocating our factory to Yaoundé in 2024 due to regional crises—we've persevered. We work closely with about 100 small-scale farmers, ensuring they receive fair compensation while promoting sustainable farming practices. In March 2024, we proudly obtained our Cameroon Quality Control Certification under ANOR, and our coffee now graces the shelves of 15 supermarkets in Cameroon. However, domestic coffee consumption is limited, which is why we're looking beyond our borders.

Our Vision for 2025

We have an exciting opportunity to expand into Europe! Our goal is to export 2,000 kg of Bimecoffee to Berlin, Germany, where we'll sell at events and fairs through a partner organization. This expansion isn't just about business growth; it's about sharing our unique coffee with a broader audience and creating a sustainable future for our farmers.
