Billy's Last Moments

Being diagnosed with stage 4 Malignant brain cancer (GlioBlastoma), has been extremely overwhelming. I took ill during the Thanksgiving holiday, and have been on a roller coaster ride ever since. Doctor visits, tests, various hospitalizations, and two stays in rehabilitation facilities have led to me having to be cared for in a skilled nursing facility. I was only given 3 months to live, and so far I have beaten those odds. But the stress on my kids (Darryl & Teysha), and my wife has been overwhelming and now I can no longer live at home safely. It was on the recommendation of my Doctor that I relocated to a care facility that can effectively care for me in this next chapter of my life. I know this will be hard for me to relocate to a care facility, but I agree with my doctors, this is in my best interest and it's what I want to do. My kids have worked tirelessly to relocate me to a skilled facility (In San Ramon), and I am so excited! I never wanted to burden my kids and family, but I need help! I know my journey is not over! I could not walk a month and a half ago, even the doctors said my prognosis was bleak. But here I am, walking again! But I need help as my medical co-pays and living in a skilled facility is pricey costing me upwards of $7000 a month. My insurance does NOT cover those costs. I have moments left on this earth, and I want to fill them with spending time with everyone who loves me with no stress or strings attached. Help me make some amazing memories. This money will go directly to me to pay for the care facility cost and all of my medical expenses. I love you all to the moon and back!
