Friends~

Many of you have reached out asking about financial support for our Dad, Billy Hall, during his battle with cancer. In January, Dad was diagnosed with an Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma, a highly aggressive cancer. He was treated at UVA with chemotherapy and immunotherapy. He was then referred to the specialists at MD Anderson in Texas where it was determined that surgical removal was not a viable option. He received radiation at Anderson while also still receiving immunotherapy at UVA. Dad returned to Anderson this week. At this time, treatment (likely more chemotherapy) will resume back at UVA.

As you can imagine, this has been quite the battle; nonetheless, Dad remains faithful and strong. Unfortunately, the financial burden of the travel, accommodations, and medical care in Texas, at UVA, and some hospitalizations are starting to add up. This is where we can all help...

Dad has been a positive light in so many lives. He has dedicated himself to conservation and holds all of his friends and acquaintances at the top of his list of blessings. He never meets a stranger and has continued to touch lives and bring light even in his own difficult journey.

Donations will be used directly to cover the medical bills and travel expenses. Should we be able to eliminate those expenses, I would like to help pay down his mortgage and relieve some of the burden so he can continue to focus on his health and mental well-being.
