This GoFundMe is for William "Billy" Schultz.

For the past 30 years Billy has been a well-known, beloved bar tender and friend to our local community. He has spent time professionally serving patrons at TGI Friday's (19 years), Movie Lounge (5 years), Taliano's (5 years), and Prima Italia (1 year).

As of August 10, 2024, Billy was unable to continue working due to complications with his health.

On November 12, 2024, after tirelessly searching for answers for 14 months from local doctors, Dr. Sukanthi Kovvuru at UAMS in Little Rock finally diagnosed Billy with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Bulbar (known as "ALS Bulbar" or Lou Gehrig's Disease). Dr. Kovvuru is an ALS specialist at the UAMS Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute.

Throughout this medical journey, it was determined that Billy will need some extra help covering medical and unexpected expenses. Some of the medical expenses projected include monthly specialty prescriptions, mobility equipment, home health services, and to help cover loss of income. Not only is Billy not able to work as a bartender, he also is not able to operate his lawn care business which helped to earn extra income.
