My name is Joanne Thayer. We're trying to raise money for my brother-in-law's services. His daughter and son are in need of help. His name was Billy Thayer. He was from Amador County. He attended Plymouth Elementary and went on to Amador High School. He was 64 years old. He passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2025. He had been in the hospital for back surgery, which later ended up in a coma. He came out of that and finally was released to come home, only to pass away the second day he was home.

This tragedy has hit the family very hard and unexpectedly. We are devastated. We are asking for any help we can get to help bury Billy.
