Billy Phillips

My dad, Billy Phillips had a heart attack at home on September 17th. After a long period of downtime the EMT received a pulse and he was sent to MMC. The doctors and staff did a great job of getting his heart and body working correctly. But little did we know that neurologically he would not be there. After many prayers and wishes 48 more hours passed and there was still no improvement neurologically. Against our wishes we had to do what we know he would want and that would be place him on comfort care. My mom, sisters and myself are all beside ourself. How can this happen to someone so amazing and so strong and why? We have all been at his bedside 24/7 and have no intentions of leaving him until his last breath. My dad and mom have worked there entire life’s to give us girls and amazing one and  we want to try and do anything we can to help. So we are asking for your help as well. My dad does not have insurance and bills are occurring by the minute. We ask that you help our family, my mom Aliese Phillips any way you can.
