Billy Lardners' Legacy Fund

The money being raised in this Legacy Fund will be transferred to a business community club account. This has been set up and called Billy Lardner's Legacy Fund. It will be managed by trustees and has multiple sign off for spending. The funds raised will be used to support young people to access sports, activities and help that they may need. It may be used to support those with greater financial needs or just to provide trips for groups of children - for eg. cubs going to a pantomime. This funding is not going to be used for or spent by one person. Monies raised will not be supporting any family members.

Billy Lardner was a 16 year old boy who loved watching football (especially Scotland, Rangers & AFCB), listening to music, going to gigs, clothes shopping, making memories, working hard to earn money, spending time with his family and hanging with his mates.

He was funny, friendly, sociable, loving, caring, happy and was loving life. He had his whole future ahead of him - had just started in his first proper part-time job, was about to go on his first stag do with cousins & uncles, was just finishing year 12 at school, he had his first driving lesson booked and he had plans - not just for the best summer of his life but for the future!

Sadly Billy died on 30th June when his life was unfairly and unjustly taken away from him. Leaving behind devastated family and friends we want to create a lasting legacy in his name.

This GoFundMe page is to raise money for good causes in Billy’s Memory - to leave a legacy.

With everything going on, the family need some time to decide what causes to support but can guarantee every penny will be used wisely - whether it be to pay for grief counselling for other families, support young people - who don’t have the funds - to play football, go to see a football match or get their beloved teams football shirt.
