We are reaching out on behalf of William “Billy” Husar — a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, husband, and friend to many. Billy is currently fighting one of the toughest battles of his life.

Earlier this year, Billy was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. With incredible strength and determination, he completed an intense course of chemotherapy and radiation in the spring and was scheduled for major surgery in May.

After undergoing surgery, Billy experienced multiple serious complications, and he continues to remain in the intensive care unit (ICU) under close medical care. His recovery has been extremely challenging, and he will likely require ongoing treatment and long-term care as he works to regain his strength and health.

Throughout this journey, Billy’s loving wife Sandy and their two sons have been by his side, offering unwavering love and support. This has been an emotionally and financially overwhelming time for their family.

Billy is self-employed, and the inability to work during this time has added a significant financial burden. In addition to the emotional and physical toll, the cost of medical care, extended hospitalization, and everyday living expenses continues to mount.

We have created this GoFundMe to support Billy, Sandy, and their boys — to help ease the financial strain and allow them to focus fully on healing and recovery. Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward medical bills, long-term care, and essential financial support for their family during this incredibly difficult time.
