Billy Gibbon - Thailand 2025

My name is Billy Gibbon - I'm a 17-year-old athlete from the Huon Valley, currently training with Huon Valley Muay Thai and Free Form Combat (Free Form Fitness) under the guidance of my coaches, James Woolley and Shaw Dean.

I'm reaching out to you in hope that you may be able to support me as I prepare for an exciting solo journey – a 3 month long training trip to Thailand, the home of Muay Thai, scheduled for August 2025. While overseas, I’ll be training at Bangtao Muay Thai, one of the best Muay Thai gyms in Thailand, deepening my skills and gaining valuable international experience that I can bring back to Tasmania.

Recently, I competed at the ISKA Australian Championships in Brisbane, as well as multiple Legion Fightsports events here in Tasmania. I’m committed to growing as both an athlete and a representative of the Huon Valley, proudly carrying the spirit of our community wherever I go.

To make this journey possible, I’m seeking sponsorship to help cover key costs such as flights, accommodation, training, fighting and day-to-day expenses.
