Billy Finn John Larkin Challenge 2600km in 72 Hrs

Billy Finn and John Larkin were great friends for over 30 years, they were both great stalwarts of the Aodh Ruadh Club and were both very involved in community affairs in Ballyshannon.
These great hurling men  sadly  passed away in 2017 but their memory will never be forgotten. Aodh Ruadh Hurling Community have honoured them with a hurling tournament since then, due to Covid 19 we are unable to host the Tournament as planned on the 4th May 2020. This year we are honouring them in a different manner, we are undertaking a huge challenge : Running/walking/crawling 1000km in 72 hours in strict accordance with the Government   Guidelines in relation to Covid 19. This Challenge will begin at 9am Friday 8th May 2020 to 9 am on Monday 11th May 2020. We are raising monies for the following local charities Donegal Wheelchair Association, Liquid Therapy, Donegal Alzheimer's Association and Patients Comfort Fund Shiel Hospital. Please support these very worthy causes who provide great services for the local community and who's fundraising efforts have been seriously affected by Covid 19.
