Help Billy take the first step to recovery

Friends and family of Billy - I'm Edgar, and this should have been a eulogy.

On August 26th, he landed himself in the ICU unable to breathe on his own after a traffic crash. He was intubated and was kept in a medically induced coma.

Updates at the time were bleak with a broken spine, pelvis, leg, ribs, a ruptured bladder, and they were not sure he was getting enough blood and oxygen to the brain - all while testing positive for Covid upon entry.

Any number of these things alone can be fatal, let alone in combination.

Most of you know, that there's just something different about Bill. He's not from this place and time, and perhaps one the the most physically and mentally resilient people around. He has undergone a few surgeries after a week stay in the ER and is now on a long path of recovery.

At the moment, he is unable to walk - but can stand on his own. His days are going to be dark in the immediate future as he tries to reclaim some normalcy, but we can be his support structure in obtaining his best quality of life.
