I am sharing this news to show that when life tries to knock you down, you fight back and you continue to live. At 25 yrs old, I have been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Yes, cancer. I began finding lumps in my neck back in July. Antibiotics wouldn’t get rid of them. Fast forward to me seeing an ENT and having surgery to remove a lymph node for biopsy and having been diagnosed November 15th. It has spread to both sides of my neck and down to my chest so far. I have had an overload of appointments over the last couple of weeks. My first round of chemo will be starting December 21st. The plan as of now is to do two rounds of treatments, two months, and get another scan to see how the cancer is reacting to the chemo. Hopefully, if all is well, I will only see a minimum of two more rounds of treatment past that. This cancer is treated very aggressively and it has been a hard journey already. Please keep myself and my family in your thoughts and prayers as we begin to battle this disease. Every dollar bill helps our family get through the next 2 months of this fight!
