Bills for Bunny

Hello there!
My name is Mark Allen, Jr. I'm a voice actor, director, musician, storm spotter... Basically, I wear a lot of hats. And in my life, things are constantly changing. There have been very few stationary points in my life over the last decade.
One of those stationary points is my cat, Bunny. I first met Bunny in 2017, when I moved from my home in California to risk it all in Texas. For the first two years I was out here, Bunny was one of several pets in the house in which I lived. When things once again changed in 2019 and it was time for me to leave that place, I had the joy of bringing Bunny along with her, officially adopting her into my personal family.
Bunny has been my best friend, my therapy floof, and my child for 5 years. Her companionship kept me sane during the pandemic shutdown throughout 2020. We huddled together under blankets during the 2021 freak snowstorm that hit Texas and left us without power in sub-freezing temperatures for 3 days. She was my only companion for the first year of living on my own throughout 2022. I love her with all my heart, and I honestly have no idea where I would be without her.
In early October, Bunny suddenly started having some serious issues with her right eye. She's always had an upper respiratory disease that has left her with leaky, sometimes gross eyes, but this was different. She was squinting nearly the entire day, and by the second day, thick, cloudy, yellow fluid was gathering under her eyes. We took her to the vet, and they informed us that she had an Ulcerated Cornea and possible infection behind the eye. It was recommended that we take her to an Ophthalmologist.
After her visit to the specialist, it was confirmed that not only had she suffered serious damage to the eye, but her vision in that eye is completely gone. She has no vision in her right eye, and beyond the ulcer, her cornea has begun separating from the rest of her eye due to immense pressure that has both engorged the eye itself as well as stretched it out horizontally, pulling the front eye parts away from her retina. The damage is complete and irreversible. At this point, the only real option is to remove the eye and get rid of all the pressure that is causing her immense pain and could even lead to further, more serious complications if not handled.
As a rescue, it's hard to say what went on in Bunny's past, but as she nears her 13th year of life, she has always been incredibly healthy and resilient. She hid this pain very well, but it is there, and it is real. I want to do everything I can to help alleviate that pain, but the procedure of removing her eye is not a cheap one. I can't do this alone.
That is where you come in. Bunny has her own instagram (chonk5life) where you can see some of her incredible personality and the sweet cat she has always been. I would very much like to rid her of her pain, and get her back to her carefree, chonky life.
Any donations go straight towards covering her medical bills. Any assistance you can offer, be it pennies or dollars, would be greatly appreciated. Please help me get this toasted marshmallow back to her happy days of sleeping peacefully in the sunlight.
