Extra expenses due to hurricane Helene

Hello, although we got very fortunate compared to others in the area of hurricane Helene. We did have some flooding in our basement from runoff down the mountain, along with a few trees falling down in the yard. We still have unknown “communication” lines running through our yard right now, and am not sure when they are going to fix those. This hurricane has affected so many people worse than us, and we are very fortunate given the circumstances. But after the hurricane we had many unexpected expenses come up, including food, essential items for a house hold, and tools to get our property back where it was before. I’m a new father and my daughter is about to turn 1, so this year has already been a rough process without the hurricane involved.This is also a very financially draining time considering I’m the only income for our household, and it has been very tough to keep our heads above water while navigating this very tough time. We’re just trying to make it through the rest of the year, and maybe then things will start moving in the right direction for us. I’ve got multiple bills I need to make payments on, if you can help, it’s most appreciated. If you can’t, I understand and appreciate you reading what I had to say.
