Dear Swanzey Lake Neighbors,

It has been just over a year since Bill Stetson’s passing, and a group of us has come together to honor his memory in a meaningful way.

Thanks to the generous donation of a granite bench from Jana Blake, and with Bud Winsor's help designing and coordinating with Keene Monument, we plan to install a memorial bench at the boat landing. The total cost for engraving and installation is $1,000.

Bill was the kind of neighbor who made Swanzey Lake feel like home - always quick with a smile and a wave as he walked with his Pomeranians, Veruca and Boo, our unofficial lake welcoming committee. His presence is deeply missed, but “Bill’s Bench” will stand as a lasting place to pause and take in the lake for years to come.
