Friends and family, I am reaching out to you for help. These past years have hit us hard, and this year couldn't end without a bang.

Vic got admitted to the hospital today. He has an abscess that got badly infected, and this infection reached the back of his abdomen, causing him pain and pressure on the back wall of his abdomen. He is also septic and having trouble urinating. They are waiting on cultures to see if the infection is in his bloodstream. Tomorrow, we will know more about the course of action that the general surgeon will take. We do know he will be in the hospital for a few days, maybe longer depending on tomorrow's assessment.

He has no sick days available, so we will not have a paycheck to look forward to for at least a couple of weeks, not only for our bills, but the medical bills that will start coming in.
