Billies IVDD surgery.

UPDATE : Billie is no longer a candidate for the surgery to help restore his ability to walk , unfortunately the disk has fully ruptured now which makes it inoperable since there’s no longer anything for them to decompress. This has made him permanently paralyzed .  He’s in critical care still because the trauma of the rupture left a massive bruise at the sight and slight  bleeding . If he can heal from bruising since there’s nothing they can do about that then He will need lots of physical therapy and eventually to be fitted for a wheel chair . Insurance won’t be of any use to us since they have marked this as a preexisting condition. Life will be hard financially caring for a special needs dog but we’ll get through it especially if he survives the scary part . I will be using  these donations to help pay off his mri which was was 3k in the mean time. Truly great full for everyone’s help in this .  ❤️

Hi my name is Ruslana, and I’m starting this go fund me for my fur baby Billie . Billie suffers from Intervertebral Disc Disease Aka IVDD . He had his first flare summer of 2021 which he was able to recover from and able to walk again after 8 weeks of strict crate rest in order to avoid possible surgery. Unfortunately come January 2022 he had another flare that has now paralyzed his back legs and left him unable to use the rest room on his own having me release his bladder for him and give him around the clock care . This flare has now placed him in critical condition with only surgery as a way of giving him relief and a chance at a comfortable life for he is only three years old. The surgery is very expensive and he will also face a very long recovery and physical therapy . I’m trying to do everything in my power to at least have the mri and surgery performed since insurance is not covering this or anything related to this issue at all because it’s considered a pre-existing condition which is devastating considering everything he will need . I’m asking for anything at all to help . He is the best boy ever and my whole life , I can’t imagine life without him or not being able to provide him care to ease his pain in any way possible .
