Billie Jo Rose was a beloved mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was one of the most courageous and kind people I have ever met. She would help anybody with anything, even when she was facing her own health issues. Billie’s journey in life was not an easy one, to say the least. At the age of 7, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Billie was given chemo and radiation treatment; ultimately, she ended up having a bone marrow transplant that saved her life. Fast forward 25 years later, she was diagnosed with Stage III noninvasive breast cancer. She once again had to undergo chemo and radiation treatments. In an effort to fight back even harder, Billie decided to have a double mastectomy performed. Unfortunately, this still was not enough to keep the cancer at bay. However, Billie was still determined to fight. With the support of her family She fought hard with everything she had. Sadly, Billie Jo Rose passed away on August 17th, 2023, from Stage lV Breast cancer that metastasized to the liver. Billie leaves behind her loving husband Alex and her beautiful 2 year old daughter, June Jo, who was her pride and joy.
