A wheelchair accessible van with hand controls would change the Davis Family's life forever!!  

Here are Bill's own words on what this would do for his family:

"As far as how a wheelchair accessible van with hand controls would be a blessing to our family and me personally, it would help provide me with something that I've lost so much of in the past 3 years and that is independence. So frequently I feel that I am a burden to my wife and our children and I am always seeking ways that I can relieve that burden. With a vehicle of my own I could drive myself to therapy, business meetings, I could take kids on daddy dates, I could go out to the movies with the guys and I could go do simple things like drive down to Home Depot and pick up some weedkiller. These are the things that come to mind when I think about having my own vehicle, because these are all outings that I have limited as much as possible or not done because I do not want to be more of a burden to my wife and her busy schedule.

She is an amazing woman and I love her so much and she is storing up a whole bunch of of treasure in the tasks that she does for me and our children on a daily basis.

So I believe the van would be an incredible blessing to our entire family and would provide greater freedom for Julie and greater independence for me!"  Bill Davis
