Bill has Rheumatoid Arhritis. Though we have 2 insurance and some of his medical equipment is covered, there are some things that are not covered. We are due to get a new wheelchair this year as he in no longer able to walk for greater than 5-10 feet. I am trying to get a portable folding wheelchair to use for out of of the house. When you are disabled you become very isolated. We do not have a lift on our car for his electric wheelchair so he is basically housebound. This chair would allow us to get him out of the house. He is a kind man, suoffering from arthritis for 17 years. We are trying to improve the quality of life he has left. I have never asked for assistance but I do not see that I will be able to afford a portable wheelchair and or a lift for my car. Help if you can. If you can't we truly understand.
