Bill Whelan

My name is Celeste and I am the daughter of Bill Whelan. I’m starting this page because Hurricane Ian obliterated the island he was living on in his airstream and he is unable to even get to the island (storm swept away the bridge) to see if he has anything left. Whatever is there will be ruined because of the storm surge but hopefully the airstream made it through. He and his kitty Zinger (aptly named after Tenzing Norgay) are thankfully safe, staying with good friends in an Airbnb in Fort Myers, which they are able to stay in for two weeks. After that, well, it’s a new day dawning. Please help to make it less stressful, financially and otherwise, as he is living off of social security and a little bit of Boeing dough. I’ve been told to state where I’m from and what the funds will be used for. I’m currently in San Francisco but working on getting down there asap. The money will be used to keep my father housed and healthy and to help him begin anew. Beyond that…?
