Bill Tiller loved his family and friends with a genuine fierceness. He had a knack for always having the most memorable life advice and giving the strongest bear hugs. When you were with him, you had his full attention and devotion, and yet he was humble and kind – a retired Marine turned entrepreneur who wore his heart on his sleeve.
Heaven gained an incredible man in the early morning of Sunday, Sept. 12. He died suddenly of a suspected pulmonary embolism at the age of 61. His last words to Eleana, his beautiful wife of 39 years were: “I have always loved you.” Just hours before his death, he was home – happy, healthy and surrounded by his three children – laughing and playing cards. We are all still in disbelief, as if any moment he will walk through the front door happy to see everyone.
Whether you knew him as Bill, Dad, Ace, Big Bill, or Papa Bill, we are all heartbroken. Join me in supporting the Tiller family -- especially his cherished wife Eleana -- as they prepare for Bill’s funeral and navigate unexpected expenses in the months ahead.
