As many of you may know, our father, Bill Segur underwent surgery last week to remove a cancerous tumor. The Surgery was extensive and led to several complications, including the need to be sedated and intubated for 10 days. This has taken a toll on him and our mother, Lisha. The surgery and additional issues presented by the surgery's complications will involve a long and complicated recovery. Because he had two small strokes, there will be a lot of physical therapy and home health for the first few weeks out of the hospital. While he has been in the hospital for 2 weeks already, Lisha has been traveling from home to Fort Lauderdale daily; 2 hours there and 2 hours back. They are missing out on work and racking up some unplanned expenses along the way- between upcoming care, meals, and travel expenses.
